SHOKUGYŌ SUTAJIO — Sand Mauve

Inspired by the relationship between profession, identity, and uniform, SHOKUGYŌ explores the clothing we wear as an extension of the work we dedicate ourselves to. Drawing from Japanese work culture, vintage motorsport, and New York street uniforms, the tracksuit reinterprets technical team apparel through the language of MÉTIER. Graphic paneling, racing-inspired typography, and institutional markings transform the traditional tracksuit into a symbol of discipline, purpose, and craft. SHOKUGYŌ is a study of profession as identity—the idea that what you practice becomes what you represent. Your profession becomes your uniform. Produced as part of the MÉTIER Uniform Studies Series.
